Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to ProSignature

Tell your assistant “make my team a signature with a banner for the sales push and get it to everyone” — and it does it on your account: designs the signature, sets the banner, adds the people, and hands you each person’s install link with the email to send. One consent screen, nothing to install, disconnect any time.

How it works

  1. Have a ProSignature account. Sign up free at prosignature.co/app — the assistant cannot do this part.
  2. Add ProSignature as a connector in your assistant with the URL https://prosignature.co/mcp/account (steps per assistant below).
  3. Approve once. A prosignature.co tab opens: sign in, see exactly what the assistant may do, click Allow.
  4. Ask for what you want. It designs, saves and prepares the rollout; you review in the app and send the emails from your own mailbox.

Just want designs to choose from, without connecting your account? See AI email signature generator.

Things you can ask

“Design a bold signature for me: name Noa Barak, Head of Sales, phone +972 3 555 0100, brand colour #1F7AE0, add a Book-a-demo button.”
“Put a banner under everyone’s signature for the Q4 offer, link it to our pricing page.”
“Add the sales team — here are their names, emails and titles — and give me the emails to send each of them.”
“Who on the team hasn’t installed their signature yet?”
“Quote me the Teams price for 12 people.”

Each result tells you what Gmail actually receives on your plan, and nothing counts as installed until a person’s own browser extension confirms it.

What it can and cannot do

Can

  • Design and save your signature: fields, any of the 13 templates, brand colour, company details, social links, CTA button, sign-off line, disclaimer
  • Design a text banner (eyebrow, title, line, button, colours, link) or start from one of 70 library designs
  • Add, update and remove people on your team; read everyone’s personal install link and rollout status
  • Prepare the launch: mark people invited and write each one a ready-to-send email with their link
  • Read your plan and quote prices

Cannot — ever

  • Pay, start the 14-day Teams trial or change your plan
  • Install a signature anywhere — people install from their own link
  • Create accounts, see your password or sign in for you
  • Send email from ProSignature (it drafts; you send)
  • Upload images — logos and photo banners are baked in the app

Everything it saves shows in the app at once, and you can fine-tune it there as usual.

Set it up in your assistant

Claude (claude.ai, desktop app)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors (on claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector).
  2. Name it ProSignature and paste the URL https://prosignature.co/mcp/account.
  3. Click Connect. A ProSignature tab opens: sign in with your account, read what Claude may do, click Allow.
  4. Back in Claude, enable the connector in the chat you use and ask away.

Claude Code (terminal)

claude mcp add --transport http prosignature https://prosignature.co/mcp/account

Then type /mcp in Claude Code and choose Authenticate next to prosignature; your browser opens the consent page.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT open Settings → Connectors and switch on Developer mode (ask your workspace admin on Business / Enterprise plans).
  2. Choose Create, name it ProSignature, paste https://prosignature.co/mcp/account and select OAuth as the authentication.
  3. ChatGPT registers itself and sends you to prosignature.co to sign in and click Allow.
  4. Start a chat, open the tools menu and tick ProSignature.

Gemini CLI

Add the server to ~/.gemini/settings.json; Gemini CLI discovers the OAuth settings on its own and opens the consent page the first time it connects:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "prosignature": {
      "httpUrl": "https://prosignature.co/mcp/account",
      "oauth": {
        "enabled": true
      }
    }
  }
}

The Gemini web app has no custom connectors yet; there, Gemini can read our public pages but cannot act on your account.

Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other MCP clients

Add a remote MCP server of type streamable-http with the URL above. Clients that follow the MCP authorization spec find the consent flow through https://prosignature.co/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp/account and register themselves; no client id or secret to type.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "prosignature": {
      "type": "streamable-http",
      "url": "https://prosignature.co/mcp/account"
    }
  }
}

What your plan changes

Designing is free. What Gmail receives follows the plan: on the free plan it is the basic template with the credit line (Free signatures carry one small clickable 'Created with ProSignature' line under the signature; Pro removes it.); Pro costs $4/month billed yearly ($48/year) or $6/month billed monthly. Prices are in USD. Teams is $0.80 per person per month billed yearly, with a 5-person minimum: $4/month ($48/year) covers up to 5 people, 10 people cost $8/month ($96/year) and 15 people cost $12/month ($144/year). Billed monthly it is $1.20 per person ($6/month for up to 5 people). 14-day free trial. The assistant can design with any template now; the design is delivered the moment the plan is active — you do that in the app, never the assistant. See pricing.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which assistants can connect?

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth: Claude (claude.ai custom connectors, the Claude desktop app, Claude Code), ChatGPT (connectors in developer mode), Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients. The Gemini web app does not offer custom connectors yet, so there the assistant can only read our public pages. A ProSignature account is needed first: the assistant cannot create one.

What can the assistant change?

Your signature (fields, template, brand colour, company details, social links, CTA button, sign-off, disclaimer, a text banner), the people on your team with their titles and phones, and it can mark people as invited and hand you their personal install links with a ready-to-send email. It cannot pay, start the 14-day Teams trial, install anything, create accounts or send email from ProSignature.

What does Gmail receive while I am on the free plan?

The basic template with the small credit line: Free signatures carry one small clickable 'Created with ProSignature' line under the signature; Pro removes it. The design the assistant made is kept and delivered the moment Pro or Teams is active.

How do I disconnect it?

In the app, under Home → Settings → Connected AI assistants, click Disconnect. The assistant's access stops at once. Access also expires on its own after 90 days of no use.

Is this safe?

The connection is a standard OAuth 2.1 flow with PKCE: you sign in on prosignature.co, you see the assistant's name and what it may do, and you approve. The assistant never sees your password. Every change it makes lands in your account exactly as if you had made it in the app, and shows there.
