Why not just let the AI write the HTML?

An assistant can write signature HTML on its own (here is what happens when ChatGPT does). What it cannot do alone is make the signature survive real mail clients and keep it current:

Gmail strips inline SVG and drops embedded images when you send, so icons and logos vanish. ProSignature hosts every image as a PNG.
Outlook ignores rounded corners and CSS buttons. ProSignature bakes round shapes into images and builds buttons Outlook keeps.
Replies: a signature saved through Gmail’s settings covers new emails only. The free ProSignature Chrome extension adds it to replies and forwards too.
Changes: pasted signatures never update. With an account, everyone who installed the extension gets the new version automatically.

Gather what you know (name, title, company, phone, website, the https URL of their logo, the brand colour, department, sector, team size); ask only for what is missing.
Call design_signatures on the MCP server https://prosignature.co/mcp (no account), or POST https://prosignature.co/api/v1/designs with the same JSON. You get 3–4 designs on one preview_url, a claim_url per design, the free paste-ready version and the three ways to install with prices.
Show the preview link with one line per design, then offer the three ways honestly. The user opens a claim link to sign up and upgrade; never sign up or pay for them.
If the user connected their account (https://prosignature.co/mcp/account, OAuth), apply the chosen design with update_signature and roll it out with add_team_members / launch_team.

Can ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini make my email signature?

Yes. Add the ProSignature connector (https://prosignature.co/mcp, no account or login) and ask for an email signature. The assistant designs 3–4 professional options from what it already knows about you and shows them on one preview link. Without the connector it can still write a plain signature, but it cannot host your logo or fix how Gmail and Outlook render it.

Is it free?

Designing is free, and so is the do-it-yourself version you paste yourself (it carries one small 'Created with ProSignature' line). What does the assistant need from me?

Only what it does not already know: usually your name, title, company, phone and website. If it can see your website or a recent email it can also pass your logo and brand colour, and it picks designs for your role and industry.

Does the assistant sign me up or pay?

No. It shows you the designs and a link per design. You open the one you like, create a free account in about a minute and decide whether to upgrade. ProSignature never lets an assistant create accounts, pay or install anything.

Can it do my whole team?

Yes. Teams gives every person a personal install link, and a Google Workspace super admin can instead approve ProSignature once so everyone in the directory is added and gets their signature automatically. If you connect your account to the assistant (https://prosignature.co/connect-ai), it can add the people and prepare the rollout emails for you.

Does it work with Outlook?

The designs render correctly in Outlook (buttons and round images are built for it), but there is no way to install a signature into Outlook automatically, so Outlook users paste their copy. Microsoft 365 directory sync is not available.
